Wool

Wool is a durable fabric, but it still requires proper care to maintain its quality. Follow these tips to extend the life of your wool garments. Remember to check the carelabel for correct treatment, the carelabels is usually located in the left-hand seam.

KEEP IT CLEAN The best way to keep wool fresh is to air it out. For small stains, brush or gently clean the area immediately. When it’s time to wash, always check the care label. We recommend hand washing or using the machine’s handwash cycle, and choosing a detergent specifically made for wool. To dry, remove excess water by rolling the garment inside a towel, reshape it, and dry flat on a towel. Avoid drying wool near heat sources to prevent shrinkage.

TAKE CARE Pilling is common for wool garments with a soft surface. Regular brushing with a wool brush can help remove pilling and smooth the fabric. A fabric shaver can also be used on smooth-surfaced textiles, but always test it on an inconspicuous area first. If you want your wool garment to look fresh and crisp, steaming can be highly effective, as it helps fibers settle smoothly and enhances the overall look.
