1. TERMS

Welcome to libertine-libertine.com, the official website of Libertine-Libertine. By using this website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Libertine-Libertine ApS reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Users of the site must agree to and comply with any changes. Please review this page periodically for updates.


2. Orders

All orders are subject to acceptance and product availability. Prices shown on the site are in DKK or Euros and include 25% VAT.

Customers outside the EU are served as DDU (delivery duty unpaid) and will only be charged for shipping. Import duties and taxes will be invoiced directly by the courier.

Customers within the EU are served as DDP (delivery duty paid) and all applicable taxes and duties are included in the purchase price.

Promotional discounts generally do not apply to sale items unless stated otherwise.


3. Delivery Detail & Service

Danish orders are shipped via our partner couriers: DHL, DAO, and PostNord.

We aim to dispatch orders as quickly as possible, Monday to Friday.

Estimated delivery times:

  • Denmark: 1–3 business days (standard items)

  • Customized or printed items: 6–8 business days

Free shipping is available for all orders.

Shipping and Fulfilment
All orders placed on libertine-libertine.com are processed and shipped from an external logistics partner, Hummel Distribution Center A/S. As a result, your order may be dispatched in packaging or with sender information referencing Hummel Distribution Center A/S. By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept this fulfilment setup.


4. Insurance & Delivery

Libertine-Libertine ApS insures all orders during transit.

A signature is required for delivery. Responsibility for the items passes to you upon receipt.


5. Return Policy

You have 14 days to return items from the date of receipt.

All returns must be registered via customer service: onlinesupportDK@hummel.dk

RETURN FEE A return fee will be deducted from your refund. The fee varies by country:

Items with personal customization cannot be returned.

Items purchased online cannot be returned to physical stores and vice versa.

Your purchase is covered by the Danish Sale of Goods Act including outage regulations. That means that purchasers are entitled to a refund if the complaint is justified and the defect did not arise because of incorrect use of the product or due to some other detrimental behavior.
 
Complaints must be made within a ”reasonable period” of having discovered the defect or flaw in the item. Customers are recommended to complain as quickly as possible.
 
Complaints can be lodged by contacting us by e-mail on onlinesupportDK@hummel.dk When you make a complaint, please provide as much detail as possible about the issue and attach your invoice.
 
Further instructions will be received depending on the situation in question.
 
Remember the goods must always be sent in suitable packaging, and you must always get a receipt for shipment. In other words, you are personally responsible for the goods until we receive them. Therefore, keep your postage receipt, including Track & Trace number.

Please note: We do not accept parcels sent as cash on delivery, or similar. 

7. Payment Methods

We accept: Visa Dankort, MasterCard, Maestro, VISA, VISA Electron.

No amount is charged until items leave our warehouse.

All personal information is transmitted securely via SSL encryption.

Customers paying in currencies other than DKK or Euros will have the amount calculated based on the exchange rate on the day of processing.

Klarna payment methods may require passing order and contact data to Klarna for assessment and tailored payment options.


8. Intellectual Property 

All content on our website, including trademarks, designs, illustrations, instructions, photos, videos, and written material, is the property of Libertine-Libertine ApS and protected under Danish law.

You may not copy, reproduce, or use this content without permission.


9. Warrenty & Liability

Libertine-Libertine makes no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or security of the website content.

We are not liable for incidental, indirect, punitive, or consequential damages, lost profits, or business interruptions arising from the use or inability to use the website.


10. Duties & Tax

  • Non-EU customers: DDU (shipping only, duties/taxes billed by courier)

  • EU customers: DDP (all duties/taxes included in price)


11. Privacy

Your privacy is important. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties.

Personal information is collected for order processing, shipping, and payment purposes only. Telephone numbers are required for delivery purposes.

We may use analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to understand visitor behavior.
